Ben and Harri star indoors

Cardiff's Ben Hillman and Harri Wheeler Sexton were the stars of the Welsh Athletics indoor combined events championships held at the NIAC last weekend, taking the under 16 and under 18 boys' titles respectively and each scoring over 3000 points for the five events.

Both Ben and Harri had shown big improvements in outdoor season and clearly intend to carry this through to next year.

In taking the under 16 title, Ben also broke elder brother Harry's championship record with his final score of 3,156 points. His individual performances were:

60m hurdles: 8.68
Long Jump: 5.99m
200m: 24,21 (pb indoors)
Shot put: 10.16m
800m: 2:11.01 (pb indoors)

Ben Henson was 4th in the under 16 age group.

Harri Wheeler-Sexton's individual performances making up his total score of 3,140 were:

60m hurdles: 8.70
Shot Put: 12.49m
200m: 24.11
Long jump: 6.01m
800m: 2:18.44

Tom Britt (2,954) was third, with Harvey Reynolds (2934) fourth and Cameron Pamment (2,777) fifth.
